Please read these terms before using Velvet Cycle ("the app"). They cover using the app and the optional Velvet Premium subscription.

1. Acceptance

By using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. Not medical advice

Velvet Cycle is a tracking tool, not a medical device. Predictions, including your next period, fertile window and PMS window, are estimates based on the information you enter and on averages. They are not a diagnosis and must not be used as contraception or as your only guide for medical decisions. Always speak to a qualified professional about your health. The sources behind each estimate are listed in the app, under Settings, Health info & sources.

3. Your account

You can use the app as a guest or sign in with Google, Apple or email. Guest data lives only in that guest session: if you log out of a guest session it cannot be recovered, so save your account first if you want to keep your data. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure.

4. Velvet Premium subscription

• Core tracking is free. Some features, currently data export and cycle history and insights, need Velvet Premium.
• Velvet Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
• If a free trial is offered, your subscription starts when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
• The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app or your Velvet Cycle account does not cancel the subscription.
• A one-time Lifetime purchase, if offered, gives access to Premium features without renewal and is not a subscription; there is nothing to cancel.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
• You can restore a previous purchase on a new device with Restore purchases.
• For purchases made on iOS, Apple's Standard License Agreement also applies.

5. Your data

You keep ownership of the information you enter. You allow us to store and process it only to run the app for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app, try to access other people's data, interfere with its operation, or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the app available and accurate but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or remove features, including which features are part of Premium, with reasonable notice where required.

8. Disclaimer and limits of liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made based on the app's predictions. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.

9. Termination

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend access that breaks these terms or puts other users or the service at risk.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept the update.
